How many reviews does Glintly show?
Up to 5 of your most recent Google reviews. That's the maximum Google's Places API returns to any third party — we'd love to show more, but the cap isn't ours to lift.
How fresh are the reviews?
We refresh every 24 hours in the background (every 6 hours on the Pro plan). When someone visits your site, we serve the cached copy instantly so they never wait on Google's servers.
Will it slow my site down?
No. The loader script is ~4 KB, loads async, and renders inside a Shadow DOM so it can't fight your site's CSS. We also set long cache headers and lazy-load avatars.
Does it work on WordPress / Wix / Webflow / Shopify?
Yes — anywhere you can paste HTML, you can paste Glintly. We've also published step-by-step guides for each major platform in our docs.
Can I customize how it looks?
Pick a layout, theme (light/dark), accent color, corner radius, font, and which reviews to show (filter by rating). Pro lets you add custom CSS.
Are you affiliated with Google?
No — Glintly is an independent product. We use the official Google Places API to fetch your reviews. Every widget links back to your Google listing as required.
